Alex & Heidi Dorrigo pre-wedding shoot

Heidi is a born and bred Dorrigo local and when she contacted me last year telling me she was marrying her fiancé Alex on her childhood family farm I was instantly excited. Meeting Al & Heidi yesterday was a blast & our little trek around Dangar Falls was a seriously fun (and slightly hairy) adventure. We then headed out for a tour of her farm where the celebration will take place in a few months - cannot wait to shoot in such a picturesque location with such a super lovely couple!

Josh & Bronte

Josh & Bronte’s wedding and reception were held in the gardens at the Saumarez Homestead in Armidale. This was a seriously gorgeous, classy wedding as they exchanged vows and rings under God, surrounded by their family and closest friends. As a photographer this was as much fun as I’ve ever had at a wedding - there were gorgeous scenes everywhere! After the reception I stole the newlyweds for a 15 minute golden hour session in one of the surrounding paddocks - definitely worth the inconvenience for some unique images. Thanks Josh & Bronte!

Ben & My

Ben & My - An Aussie chef and a Swedish doctor, were married at a gorgeous intimate ceremony at Korora on Sunday. The weather couldn’t have been better for such a beautiful celebration. After the knot was tied on the headland, we headed down to the beach for some portraits before the backyard reception party began. The atmosphere and the food was incredible - and the whole day was a freaking blast to capture with a camera! Thanks Ben & My!!!

Luke & Hollie

I’m not sure how Saturday could possibly have been any more perfect for Luke & Hollie’s Manly wedding. Perfect summer skies looked down on a crowd of loving family and friends gathered together as these two lovers tied the knot before God. After a loop around the block for some portraits we headed to Beachside Dojo for the reception. This was a celebration of serious good times & joy as the images below show. Thanks Luke & Hollie - looking forward to hearing how God works in & through your lives into the future!

Ben & My Sawtell Pre-Wedding Shoot

Ben & My met in her home country of Sweden and after 6 years together have decided to tie the knot in their new home of Coffs Harbour. We’re going to have a great day celebrating in a little over a week, and got together to capture some of their love and passion on the beach in Sawtell.

Josh & Bronte's Armidale Forest Shoot

Armidale is hands down one of my favourite towns in Australia & capturing my friend Bronte (who I’ve known since she was in primary school) and her fiancé Josh in their hometown was a blast. Great seeing you again Bronte, and Josh - very cool getting to know you on our little trek. Can’t wait to capture your wedding early next year!!!

Luke & Hollie's Dorrigo pre-wedding shoot

Luke & Hollie are getting married in December in Manly.  With all of my couples I'm super keen to grab engagement shots that are different to what they'll get on their big day.  So when Luke & Hollie mentioned they'd be in my neighbourhood this week I had to grab the opportunity to head off the beaten track with them for some fun.  I was after shots that summed up their connection, while showcasing something of the gorgeous natural beauty of this area.  Here's a few of my favourites from the day.  Can't wait till December guys!!!

Prashan & Paige

When Prashan & Paige wed on the cricket pitch at her family property on Saturday, two cultures came together under the God they call on.  It was an absolutely magnificent occasion, with bucketloads of joy and emotion.  We dodged the thunderstorms through the afternoon for some shots in a couple of local spots before the reception began and the party started.  Here's a few of my faves from the day.

Benji & Ana

Benji & Ana's backyard Bonville wedding was the ultimate combination of fun & genuine commitment.  I don't know that I've seen more emotion at a wedding in my life & it was an enormous privilege to stand on the sidelines documenting it.  After the ceremony we ducked down for some pics in the forest where Benji proposed to Ana, followed by some shots in the gorgeous golden sun before hitting the reception.  So much fun guys - thanks heaps for the opportunity!

Jeremy & Lucy

It didn't rain on Saturday.  It hammered down.  And it was an outdoor ceremony!  So it was all raindrops and umbrellas and genuine laughter, celebration & commitment at Charlesworth Bay headland as we watched Jeremy & Lucy tie the knot.  And then... the sun came out!  It was a magnificent day and we got the chance to go exploring a nearby headland in the perfect afternoon light.  Here's some shots from the day - hope you enjoy them!
