I know, another family shot but I couldn't resist! Both of these two last shots were taken on Sawtell headland last night. We set up there with some friends to enjoy drinks while watching the twilight settle over a stormy ocean to celebrate Deb's birthday. The light was gorgeous, and I had about 3 minutes to get some shots before the light faded too much.

Warmth

Friends Andrew and Kel dropped off a great dinner for us tonight, complete with 'urbs'. Not only that, but a bottle of the best grape juice we've had, and a lovely bottle of red. This was followed by a dice game - coziness all round. Thanks Croots - you guys are gems!

Selfie time.

There's something I love about gritty high contrast portraits. For obvious reasons, not too many people like having them done on themselves - they don't exactly flatter. So, time for a selfie! The light from under me was actually the sunlight reflecting off white lino - made a pretty cool reflector!
