Trash the Dress shoot

A friend of ours - Donna, took us down to Bonville Creek a few days ago for a Trash the Dress shoot. We didn't trash the dress (it's drying outside as I type), but it was a great time and we're really happy with the resulting shots. You can check out Donna's website at

Thanks a tonne Donna, you're an absolute gem!

Plates. Went on a great day trip today with the family to Cathedral Rocks. Such a beautiful place, with so many photo opportunities. However I made the decision to leave the camera at home and just enjoy it and the family - I find it hard not to view everything through the lens sometimes. So - here's a pic of some hotplates!

Carnival. Great night with the family and friends at the local dodgy carnival. Spent 5 bucks shooting a star out of a piece of paper - bargain!

Beautiful. Deb and I had a good friend do a trash the dress shoot today (pics will come). Deb's not been having the easiest of times settling in and this was a really nice, relaxed, and fun way to enjoy the afternoon and celebrate our marriage. Love you baby!

Slinky. Friends Dave and Claire gave us a cool apple peeler/corer/slinkier for our wedding - much fun, and our apple consumption has gone through the roof! Now we need something to spice up our banana life!

Scamp. My favorite book as a little fella, I loved him. Scamp was naughty, and I related well to him.

Product. Yep, not the best I've taken I know. Says good things about my general productivity though!

Pete and Evie. A couple of my favorite people at a get together the other day - loved Eva's facial expressions when getting out of the water, but was a bit too slow to capture them.

Frangipanis. Yeah, I know - they're everywhere. But... they were in front of me, so I shot them. And, being the first day of the year I thought the bloomed flower thing was kind of cool.
